I am looking to find some vital records for people that lived in Szeredyne. First is the birth record from 1893 for Janos Szember, the son of Mills and Theresa Szember.

Hi Elissa, yes, it may be possible but only if your ancestors were Greek-Catholics. There is good collection of GC books for Szerednye, 1893 is available. However, if they were RC, Refs or Orthodoxes, pre-1895 records are not available.
